OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

As Occupational Therapists, our role is to work with you to achieve your goals and support you to build your skills to participate in all activities in your day. To us the word ‘occupation’ doesn’t just mean your job, but all the tasks that you need to do, like to do, or want to do. We can provide support in a range of areas such as getting dressed, following routines, making meals, accessing the community, doing the washing, using cutlery, writing your name or playing with friends. We work with you to develop strategies that assist you to participate in activities that are new or that may be challenging.

  • Self-care (teeth brushing, showering, dressing)
